Big News for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati!

Yesterday Archbishop Pilarczyk celebrated his 50th anniversary as a priest. He was Ordained a priest on December 20, along with being Ordained a bishop on that same date, a number of years later.

And today at 6:00 AM our time, he retired. And we received a new Ordinary! Archbishop Schnurr is the 10th Ordinary of Cincinnati. There will be a press conference at 12:30 with the new Archbishop.

Here is his first address to his flock of Cincinnati:

Thank you Archbishop Pilarczyk for 50 great years of service, and welcome Archbishop Schnurr!
